“An introduction to Northern Soul as a teenager in the 70’s, began a lifelong obsession with Soul Music. Collecting heavily through the 80’s from both Manchester independent record shops and UK mail order dealers, led to DJing around Manchester and the North of England, and in recent years I have taken my mixed genre sets to most of the major weekenders and soul nights across Europe. As part of the Manchester-based Ultimate Choice collective, with co-founder Gumbo and a disparate bunch of likeminded collectors and DJ’s, we have promoted our own nights in the city and hosted our own monthly radio show” - Dave
