Dave Girdwood
Raised listening to his mother’s soul records, Dave then ventured into hip hop through a friend’s older brother; thinking he was rebelling at high school! A few years later, things went full circle as Dave started to hear and recognise samples in the songs he was listening to, which then led to a change from collecting hip hop, to soul and funk. He currently stumbles through life from one record to the next…
