Tommy Søvik
Tommy Søvik is a historian from Oslo, Norway. He’s been a collector of soul 45’s for many years, and he’s always had an interest in the tunes with a message that tell stories of the "real" life of African Americans. In 2015, he finished his master thesis in history at the University of Oslo about black political soul 45’s, titled Speak Ghetto Speak - Political Soul in USA 1960-1980. Here is a taste of his 45 collection of Soul With A Message.
